As your offsite approaches, your event organizer will keep you informed about key details—before you travel and while you're on site. Here’s how communication may be shared with you throughout the process:
You may receive email updates before and during your event. These might include RSVP changes, schedule shifts, travel tips, or post-event surveys. Keep an eye on your inbox so you don’t miss any must-know info.
Text (SMS)
If you’ve opted in, you may receive text messages for quicker updates. These are usually time-sensitive items—think travel reminders, activity location changes, or heads-up messages while on site.
Note: You must check the box that says “I agree to be contacted via SMS by BoomPop” during the RSVP process to receive texts— learn more here.
AI Text Messenger
Our AI Text Messenger is available for quick help as you plan. Ask questions any time—whether it's about your RSVP, event logistics, or what's for dinner. It's like a personal assistant in your pocket (but less judgy).
Slack
If Slack is used for event communication, updates and messages can appear directly in your team’s or the event's channel. You may also receive quick surveys that can be answered without leaving Slack, with responses automatically syncing to BoomPop.
Plus, BoomPop AI can be used in Slack to ask questions about your event and get instant, threaded responses right in the channel. Learn more about our Slack integration as a guest here.
Google Calendar
If your organizer uses calendar invites, you’ll be able to sync your event directly to your Google Calendar. To do this, just select “Subscribe to event calendar” on your Guest Website when RSVP’ing. It's a simple way to make sure you’ve got the latest event agenda at your fingertips.
