During the RSVP process, you can choose to receive SMS updates for your event. These messages help you stay up to date and get quick access to useful information throughout your event.
What You’ll Receive via SMS
There are two types of messages you may receive during your event:
BoomPop AI Text Messenger
Quick answers to questions about your event
Daily itinerary summaries and updates during the event
Organizer Updates
Real-time reminders
Last-minute changes
Location-specific tips and updates
Note: SMS and AI Text Messenger are currently available only in the US and Canada. International guests will not receive a confirmation code. To continue with your RSVP, international guests must uncheck SMS as a preferred communication type.
Opting in during RSVP
During RSVP, Ensure Text (SMS) is included as one of your preferred contact methods.
Enter your mobile number and update your country code if needed. We’ll send you a code; enter it in the Verify phone number section to confirm and complete your SMS opt-in.
Make sure the I agree to be contacted by SMS by BoomPop box is checked. We’ll only use your number to send helpful reminders and updates about the event(s) you’re attending. We never send spam or share your info!
Opting in after RSVPing
Already RSVPed but didn’t opt in to SMS? No problem:
Click Edit My Details from your RSVP confirmation page.
Update your contact preference to include SMS, then enter and verify your phone number (as shown above).
Things to note
SMS and AI Text Messenger are only available in the US and Canada at this time.
International guests cannot receive SMS confirmation codes; they must uncheck SMS as a preferred communication type to proceed in the RSVP flow.
Standard messaging rates may apply depending on your carrier.
