RSVP Settings

Manage the RSVP statuses for your event

Updated over a month ago

The Settings tab in the Manage Guest Experience section lets you control your event’s RSVP availability. Whether you want to close RSVPs by a certain date or remove the RSVP function altogether, this tab gives you the flexibility to manage guest responses with ease.

Stop accepting RSVP responses

Toggle this on if you no longer want guests to RSVP or edit their responses. Once enabled:

  • Guests will no longer be able to submit or update their RSVP.

  • A banner will automatically appear on your guest website notifying visitors that RSVPs are closed.

Set a Cutoff Date

Prefer to keep RSVPs open for now but close them later? You can schedule a cutoff date in advance. RSVPs will automatically close on the date you choose, and the same banner will be displayed on the guest site as shown above.

Toggle on the Stop accepting RSVP responses button and check Schedule stop date. From there, you can select your final cut off date.

Hide the RSVP Closed Banner

If you’d rather not display a message on the guest website, you can toggle off the banner even while RSVPs remain closed.

Remove the RSVP Feature Completely

If you're not collecting RSVPs—for example, if guest information is already confirmed or RSVPs aren’t required for your event— ensure that both Stop acceping RSVP responses and Hide RSVP banner on website are toggled on.

When to Use These Settings

These options are especially useful if:

  • You’ve finalized your guest list and want to lock in responses

  • You’re hosting an internal offsite where attendance is pre-determine

  • You’re past the RSVP or rooming list deadline and want to close it out cleanly

  • You want to streamline the guest experience and remove unnecessary steps

As always, you’re in control. Adjust these settings anytime from the RSVP Settings tab to align with your event needs.
