If you're hosting an event that requires guests to purchase tickets, you can manage everything directly in BoomPop. Once your event is created, follow the steps below to set up tickets to your needs.
Note: Ticketing can only be enabled for events that don’t have any attendees invited yet. If you’ve already added guests, you’ll need to remove them first before turning on ticketing.
To get started, head to your Guest Management tab and click Manage Guest Experience.
From there, navigate to the Ticketing tab—this is where you’ll turn on ticketing, connect Stripe, and customize your ticket types.
In your RSVP Settings tab, flip the switch by Do you want to ticket this event? to Yes to make your event ticketed. This will open up additional ticketing options.
To accept payments, you’ll need to securely link a Stripe account. Select Edit Details in the Payout account set up with Stripe box to start that process.
This is a one-time setup per company and requires the following info:
Business info: EIN, business address, phone number, website
Personal info: Authorized signer’s full name, phone number, and last 4 digits of their SSN
Banking details: Account number to receive funds
You will then be moved into the Stripe account set up process. If your company already has a Stripe account, log in and connect your account to BoomPop. If you do not already have a Stripe account, you will need to create one in order to have a ticketed event on BoomPop.
Need help with Stripe? Visit their Support Center for setup guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting tips.
You can offer a single ticket or multiple tiers depending on your event's needs. Click Add a ticket type to begin.
For each ticket type, you’ll provide:
Name
Description
Price
Number of tickets available
Once saved, your ticket information is ready to go! You can preview what the tickets look like on the Guest Website.
There, guests will see and select tickets as part of their RSVP process.
Ticket purchase info will display in the RSVP table under Guest Management, so you can easily view who’s purchased what. You can also see their Status (if they are attending the event) and their RSVP Completed status (if they have filled in their RSVP details)
That’s it—ticketing made simple. If you need to make edits, just return to the RSVP Settings or manage payments directly in Stripe.
