Using the Survey Tool

Easily gather feedback and preferences from your guests

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Surveys are a helpful way to collect insights both before and after your event—whether you’re gathering availability, learning about guest preferences, or understanding how the experience went. You'll find this tool in the Guest Management tab of your Full Service Hub.

Building Your Survey

To get started, head to the Guest Management tab and click into Surveys.

Start by choosing a template or starting from scratch. Templates include options like pre-event, post-event, or guest availability surveys, but you can customize them however you'd like.

Once you’ve selected your starting point, decide whether your survey should collect responses anonymously.

Note: Anonymous surveys tend to gather more candid feedback, but named responses are helpful when you're collecting info like activity preferences or meal selections.

Edit existing questions or click Add Question to create your own.

Type your question and choose a response format from the dropdown (short answer, single choice, multiple choice, etc.).

For choice questions, enter your answer options and optionally include an “Other” field.

Mark questions as required by toggling the setting in the upper corner. Use the arrow icons to reorder questions or the trash can to delete them.

Sending the Survey

When you're ready to send, use the Preview Survey button to view it in a new tab.

You can either Preview and Send (send now) or Schedule Send.

If scheduling, select your preferred date and time first, then proceed with the remaining steps.

Choose your recipients. All RSVP’d guests are included by default, but you can edit the list or upload specific emails.

Write a short message or instructions for the top of your survey email. If you’d rather send it another way (like Slack or Teams), copy the survey link directly

Preview the survey email before sending to see how it will appear to guests.

You can send the email from your own Gmail account or from BoomPop’s sender address.

Once everything looks good—send it out! Want help reviewing responses? Read how to analyze your survey results.
