As you browse vendors in Explore, you can save your favorites to your Shortlist: a dedicated space to review and organize your top picks before sending availability requests.
The Shortlist is the second step in the BoomPop workflow: Explore, then Shortlist, then get availability.
How to Save a Vendor
To save a vendor to your Shortlist, click the + icon on any listing card while browsing. Once saved, the icon updates to a checkmark so you can see at a glance what you've already added.
You can save vendors from a few different places:
Directly on a listing card in the search results
In split view while browsing
On the Vendor Detail Page
Viewing Your Shortlist While You Explore
A persistent bar at the bottom of the Explore page tracks your saved vendors and shows a running count. Click the count to open a quick view of everything you've saved so far; you can review the list or remove vendors without leaving Explore.
When you're ready to move on, you can open your Shortlist by clicking Shortlist in the bottom bar, using the button in the bottom right, or clicking Go to Shortlist from the saved vendors pop-up.
The button label may vary depending on what you've saved, but all three take you to the same place.
Your Shortlist Page
Your Shortlist page shows all saved vendors organized by category: Hotels, Activities, Restaurants, Services, and Saved for Later. From here, you'll select which vendors you want to send proposals to.
All hotels are auto-selected when you arrive. If you want to narrow your list before sending RFPs, uncheck any vendors you'd like to leave out. Removing a vendor from your selection here doesn't delete it from your Shortlist, it excludes it from your RFP group.
Use the three-dot menu on any vendor to save it for later or remove it entirely.
Save for Later
Saving a vendor removes it from your active Shortlist without permanently deleting it. Vendors that are saved live in the Saved for later tab, where you can review them any time. To permanently remove a vendor, open the Saved for later tab, click the three-dot menu on the vendor, and select Remove from Saved for later.
Once you send an RFP to a vendor, it moves to the Requests and Bookings tab automatically. We recommend using Saved for Later for vendors you want to keep on hand without sending a request.
Requesting Proposals
When you're ready to move forward, the bottom bar shows your next step. The button you see depends on your vendor types and whether your organization has the BoomPop Concierge plan enabled:
Hotels: the button reads Start Hotel RFP regardless of Concierge status
Restaurants or activities, with Concierge: the button reads Get Availability
Restaurants or activities, without Concierge,Services: no button appears
If you have a mix of vendor types, the button updates based on which category tab you're viewing. Note that requesting availability for restaurants and activities requires the BoomPop Concierge plan. Learn more about Concierge here.
