Managing Your Shortlist

Keep track of your top vendor picks and collaborate seamlessly

Updated over 2 weeks ago

What is the Shortlist?

The Shortlist is your dedicated space to save and organize your favorite vendors. Whether you're looking at hotels, restaurants, activities, or services—this is where your top choices live.

To access the page, head to the Explore tab, then click the Shortlist button in the top menu bar.

From there, you can take a look at all of your saved vendors in one place, plus request availability and collaborate with other stakeholders via comments.

How to Add Vendors

You can add vendors to your Shortlist in two ways. If you are browsing the Explore tab, you can click the heart icon in the search or individual vendor listing page to save it for later.

Alternatively, if you've booked a vendor outside of BoomPop, you can add them go to your Shortlist by clicking “Add Vendor” to manually add to your Shortlist.

See the full instructions for adding external vendors and how to add listings to our vendor database here.

Leaving Comments

You and anyone else with access to your event page can comment directly on any vendor in your Shortlist. Just click the Comment button to get started.

Comments appear in a threaded, message-style format.

You can also add images or attachments for added context.

Use comments to share feedback, compare options, or flag important details—it's all in one place for easy collaboration.

Comment Notifications

Here’s how notifications work, so nothing slips through the cracks:

  • If you tag someone else, they’ll get a notification

  • If you tag yourself, you won’t receive a notification

  • If you comment without tagging anyone, your event planner will be notified (if applicable)

  • If your event planner comments without tagging anyone, no one is notified

How to Add Vendors

You can add vendors to your Shortlist in two ways:

Click the heart icon while browsing the Explore page

Important: Vendors are never notified about comments—this space is private to you and your planning team.
