Partner Hub: Proposing Alternative Dates to Clients

Offer options and stay in consideration

You can now propose alternative dates directly from your inquiry in Partner Hub, with no need to contact support. This is most common when your property isn't available for the requested dates, but it's useful any time you can better accommodate a group on different dates.


When to propose alternative dates

This works well when the original dates don't work but your property can fully support the group on different ones.

Consider proposing alternative dates if:

  • Guest room or meeting space availability is limited on the original dates

  • You can meet the client's full needs on other dates

  • You can offer more competitive pricing on a different date

  • The event would otherwise be a strong match for your property

Even if the client can't adjust their plans, sharing alternatives gives them the full picture before making a decision.


How to propose alternative dates

When responding to an inquiry, you'll see the option to propose alternative dates directly from the dates overview.

First, open the inquiry and navigate to the dates overview section.

Next, select Propose other dates and use the date picker to enter the alternative dates you'd like to offer.

Then, submit your availability and pricing for each date. Once fully submitted, all of this information is sent directly to the client.


Editing your proposal after submission

If you need to add dates after submitting, select Edit Proposal from the inquiry. From there, you can update the dates and propose additional alternatives using the same process.


What the client will see

The client will have clear visibility into both options:

  • The original dates will show and reflect your submitted availability and pricing

  • The alternative dates will appear as a separate opportunity with your pricing, with the label "Suggested by hotel"

This keeps the process transparent and ensures your availability is accurately represented.


TL;DR

  • If the original dates don't work but others do, you can propose alternatives directly from the inquiry

  • Select Propose other dates from the dates overview and enter your preferred dates

  • Respond to the original dates, add your reason, and submit pricing for the new dates in one response

  • To add dates after submitting, use the Edit Proposal button

  • The client will see both the original dates and your alternative with full availability and pricing detail
