Every inquiry in Partner Hub moves through a series of statuses that reflect where things stand between you and the client. Understanding what each status means— and what action it might call for— helps you respond faster, stay organized, and win more business.
Your Inquiry Statuses
As inquiries come in and you work through the proposal process, you'll see the following statuses in Partner Hub
New Inquiry: A new request has come in and hasn't been viewed yet. Head to your inbox and review the details as soon as possible—fast responses make a strong impression and help clients move forward quickly.
Viewed: The inquiry has been opened by you or someone on your team. If you're actively working on a response, this status lets your team know it's in progress.
Proposal Submitted: You've submitted your proposal and the client is reviewing it. If you need to make changes before they respond, you still have time.
Turned Down by Vendor: You've declined the inquiry. The client will be notified that you're unable to accommodate their request.
Turned Down by Client: The client has declined your proposal. The inquiry is closed on their end.
Contract Requested: The client has selected your property and is ready to move forward. This is your cue to send the contract.
Awaiting Executed Contract: The contract has been sent and you're waiting on a signed copy back from the client.
Booked: The contract is fully executed and the booking is confirmed. You're all set.
Cancellation Requested: The client has submitted a cancellation request. Review the request and follow up as needed.
Cancelled: The booking has been cancelled.
Tips for Staying on Top of Inquiries
If an inquiry needs to go to a teammate, reassign it rather than leaving it unactioned.
Responding quickly— especially to New Inquiries— improves your chances of winning the business and reflects well on your property.
Staying on top of your statuses means nothing falls through the cracks, and clients always know you're engaged and moving things forward.
TL;DR
Inquiry statuses update automatically as you and the client take action.
New Inquiry and Contract Requested are your two most time-sensitive statuses— act on them quickly.
Use filters in Partner Hub to stay focused on what needs attention.
Reassign inquiries to teammates when needed so nothing sits unactioned.
