Partner Hub: Sending a Contract to Your Client

Send contracts confidently in the self-planning workflow

Updated over 2 months ago

For self-planning customers in the Agent of Record (AOR) flow, sending a contract is a straightforward step. The platform tracks the contract status, but the signing happens outside BoomPop.

Your next step after a client requests a contract is to send it to the listed signatory— name and email provided— using a method that works for you.

How to Send the Contract

Locate the request
On your inquiry page, the client’s request will trigger a status update, letting you know a contract is needed.

Send the contract
Use your preferred secure signing platform if available. If not, sending via email works fine. Make sure it goes directly to the signatory listed in the event details.

Mark it as sent in BoomPop

Once you’ve sent the contract to the signatory, click the Mark as Sent button in the platform.

You’ll have the option to copy the contact info if needed, then check the box confirming that the contract has been sent to the listed email.

The platform will also remind you of the commission due to BoomPop, which you should acknowledge.

After all boxes are checked, click Mark as Sent to finalize, and the event status will automatically move to the Signature stage.

Next step: signature
Once everything is marked as sent, the status bar will move to the Signature stage. The client signs off-platform, and the process continues from there.

Pro Tips

  • Double-check the email and name before sending to avoid delays.

  • Use a secure platform whenever possible to protect sensitive information.

  • Keep the commission acknowledgment in mind as part of your workflow—it ensures everything stays aligned with BoomPop’s agreements.

TL;DR

  1. When a client requests a contract, check your inquiry page for the status update.

  2. Send the contract to the event signatory using a secure platform or email.

  3. In the platform, click Mark as Sent, copy the contact info, confirm the contract was sent, and acknowledge the commission.

  4. Once complete, the status will move to the signature stage, which happens off-platform.
