The Budget Tab gives you a real-time look at your event’s financials based on vendors booked through BoomPop. It automatically tracks what you’ve spent, what remains, and how costs break down per guest— so you can stay oriented without juggling spreadsheets or doing mental math.
What the Budget Tab Shows
At the top of the page, the Budget Tab surfaces the most important numbers you need to understand your event’s financial picture at a glance.
Total Budget pulled directly from Event Details
Total Spend based on vendors booked through BoomPop
Remaining Budget calculated automatically as bookings are confirmed
Price Per Guest based on booked spend and your current guest count
These totals update in real time as your event comes together.
What Counts as “Booked”
A vendor is considered booked once you have completed the booking process with the platform. At that point, the finalized cost is automatically added to the Budget Tab.
Note: Right now, hotels are the only vendor type that can be booked directly through BoomPop. Generally, vendors that are still being sourced or quoted will not appear until they’re booked.
How Spend Is Tracked
The Budget Tab shows a clear breakdown of where your event budget is going and keeps totals up to date automatically.
Scrolling down, you’ll see each booked vendor listed as its own line item, grouped by category (for example, Hotel or Activity). The total cost for each vendor is shown clearly so you can understand how spend is distributed across your event.
Behind the scenes, BoomPop does the math for you using the budget information from your Event Details.

Vendors booked outside of BoomPop
