Guest Support: Subscribing to Event Calendar Invites

Get your event itinerary directly in Google or Outlook Calendar

Updated over a month ago

Once you've completed your RSVP, you’ll see the option to Subscribe to Event Calendar.

By subscribing, you’ll automatically receive calendar invites for each itinerary item — whether you use Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar — if your organizer chooses to publish the schedule in this format.

It’s a simple way to stay in the loop and keep your event agenda exactly where you need it!

How to Subscribe

Click Subscribe to Event Calendar on your RSVP confirmation screen.

Then, confirm your subscription to the event calendar.

Alternatively, at the end of the RSVP flow, you’ll automatically be prompted to subscribe to the event calendar.

Authorize Your Calendar

You’ll be prompted to log in and connect your calendar account.

  • If you use Google Calendar, you’ll sign in to your Google account.

  • If you use Outlook, you’ll sign in to your Microsoft account.

Once you complete this step, you’ll be successfully subscribed and will begin receiving calendar invites for published itinerary items. You will also see Subscribed to Calendar at the top of the Guest Website.

If needed, you can remove the invites from your calendar.

What to Expect

  • You’ll receive calendar invites for all published itinerary items.

  • Updates to the itinerary (like time or location changes) will sync automatically.

  • You only need to subscribe once.

If you don’t see calendar invites, it may be because:

  • The itinerary hasn’t been published yet, or

  • The organizer is not using the calendar publishing feature for this event.

In that case, reach out directly to your event organizer to confirm how event details will be shared.

Note for Outlook users

When you subscribe with Outlook, each calendar item generates an email notification. This includes:

  • One email per event when you first subscribe

  • One email per event for updates or cancellations

This is normal behavior for Outlook and does not happen with Google Calendar.

TL;DR

  • Click Subscribe to Event Calendar after RSVP

  • Authorize your Google or Outlook account

  • Receive calendar invites for published itinerary items

  • Updates sync automatically

  • Contact your organizer if you don’t see invites
