Setting Up Website Templates

Customize the default layout for your company's guest websites

Website Templates let you define a starting point for every guest website your company creates— choosing which sections are visible and in what order. If your team runs a lot of events and tends to follow a similar format, this saves you from making the same adjustments every single time.

This feature is available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Finding Website Templates

Head to Company Hub, then open Settings. Scroll down to the fifth option under the Resources section; you'll see Website Templates listed there.

Creating Your Template

Select Create Template to get started.

Once created, you'll see all available guest website sections listed on the right-hand side.

A few things to know before you start customizing:

  • The Header section is fixed. It will always appear first and cannot be toggled off or reordered.

  • Every other section can be shown or hidden, and arranged in any order you'd like.

Customizing Section Order and Visibility

Reordering sections: Grab the drag handle (the six-dot icon) to the left of any section and drag it into the position you want.

Toggling visibility: Use the toggle switch next to each section to set it as shown or hidden by default. For example, if you typically share the guest website before a hotel is booked, you might want to hide the Hotel Information section by default.

When you're done, hit Save.

Editing Your Template

Only one template exists per company at a time. To make changes, just click into your existing template, adjust whatever you need, and save. If you exit without making changes, nothing will be affected.

How Templates Apply to Guest Websites

Your saved template sets the default layout for any new guest websites created after the template is saved. Existing guest websites are not affected— those will keep whatever layout they already have.

You can always adjust individual sections within a specific event's guest website after it's created. The template just gives you a better starting point.

TL;DR:

  • Website Templates live in Company Hub > Settings > Website Templates

  • Available on Pro and Enterprise plans

  • Set default section order and visibility for new guest websites

  • Changes apply to new guest websites only--existing ones are not affected

  • One template per company; edit it anytime
