Short answer: we usually recommend canceling your event rather than deleting it.
Canceling notifies your guests and moves the event out of your active list, without erasing the record. It covers most situations, like:
Duplicate events
Test or draft events
Events you no longer need
To cancel an event, reach out to your Event Planner or our Support team—they’ll take care of it for you.
If you’d rather have the event page fully removed, let them know. We’re happy to help delete event pages when needed.
When an event can’t be deleted
For events that have already taken place and were booked through BoomPop, we ask that the event page remain intact. This helps us keep an accurate record of past events and bookings.
